2. Do Narrow Down Your Targeting
Facebook allows you to target people based on location, age, gender, and languages. But then you can go even further into detailed targeting and include things such as the cars they drive, the titles they hold, or their annual income. Once you get comfortable with the targeting options, you can upload your own customer list into the ads manager in order to find people on Facebook who are similar in nature to your existing customers.

 

3. Include a Clear Call-to-Action (CTA)
Clear and concise CTA tells the viewers at one glance about your product, and that helps to make faster decisions. As it is, you have just 25 characters to write your headline and 90 for the description, so why to waste those precious characters and beat around the bush.

 

4. Do Use Engaging Photos And Videos
The saying, “A picture is worth a thousand words,” still holds true to this day, especially when it comes to Facebook Ads. When people scroll through their feed every day, what do you think is the one thing that will make them stop to view a post? An eye-catching picture that POPS or a video that draws in their attention. When you are choosing an image for your ad, make sure the image or video is relevant to what you are advertising.

2. Don’t Stop Testing
There’s no single approach to Facebook advertising that works for every company. While marketing knowledge and experience should guide you in the right directions, nothing beats trial and error for perfecting your ads – everything from the headline, description and imagery to the placement and CTA buttons should be tested and refined continually.

 

For the clearest comparison, run A/B tests of ads with just one difference so you can compare that metric. Since consumer tastes change, testing should be ongoing to make sure your ads are always enticing and are giving you the lowest cost per conversion.

 

3. Don’t Complicate Things
Your ads must have a simple headline, a descriptive message, and a clear image that’s consistent with your brand and offerings. Be sure to include your business name, what you’re proposing, its key selling points, and why it’s useful to the audience.

 

Also, beware of using deceptive ads as clickbait. You don’t want to anger your users or get banned from the platform because your ad misled them. Customers are the heart of your business, so building trust is of utmost importance.

 

4. Set the Right Budget
If the campaign is not so great, it is very easy to spend too much on it. However, make sure that you strike the balance of setting the limit to only the amount you can afford and gives you the reach you expect.
